The COVID19 virus has created an event of historic proportions. As the area Historical Society, we accept the responsibility of collecting and archiving information about all events of historic significance. As such, we are asking our friends and neighbors to share their experiences regarding this trying time. When performing historical or genealogical research, it is always a special moment when you can find a glimpse into the daily lives of those who came before us. This project is an opportunity to collect these personal glimpses for those who come after us. We want to know what impact the virus has had on your life. We are interested in hearing from medical personnel, first-responders, teachers (and parents who are home-schooling), retail workers, senior citizens and young people, infected and recovered persons and workers who have suddenly become furloughed and all of our friends and neighbors.

To be a part of this history please answer our questionnaire.

We are looking for volunteers to transcribe historical Campbell County information. If you have access to non
copyrighted historical information (such as census records and tax lists) and can type and e-mail it to us then
we would like to hear from you. Please advise which item you are interested in providing by emailing the

Campbell County Historical & Genealogical Society before starting so items are not duplicated.

All members receive our quarterly newsletter, Campbell County History News", which was awarded third place in
the 1998 Family Tree Newsletter Contest. The certificate states "This publication has been judged to represent the
finest achievement in journalism and communication." You can see some articles from the newsletter in our
ection. Please see our About our Society page for more information about becoming a member.

FYI: Free Find does not always soundex, so you may have to try different spellings of your family name.  And because Free Find is free, it does not index all the pages.
